Not dead!

Things have been crazy these last two months, between work, getting some special things done, and then there's the illness. It seems to go 'round and 'round my house. If its my baby, its me or the hubby. Enough already!

Anywho, this may be a short entry, but I just wanted to give a couple of updates. I have a few orders in the works.

  • "Orient" Cincher for Lisa W. 5%Currently I have the pattern drafted and the other day I recieved fabric for it from her. So this week I hope to have it cut out and on its way to completion. She doesn't need it until the start of next year, but I'm going to try and get it to her early. :)
  • Custom Corset & Skirt for Brandie H. 1%So far for this one, I have the corset pattern drafted, and I'm currently waiting on the deposit so I can continue with the order and get a few items needed for it ordered :)
  • "Abigail" Pencil for Stephanie Z. 1%I'm making her a white cotton brushed twill skirt with navy blue grosgrain ribbon detail to match her Anchor "Sweetheart" corset!
  • "Bella" repairs for Jezreel C. 5%Due to fabric malfunction, I'm going to be making repairs and replacing four of the panels, and reinforcing each of the taffeta panels so this does not happen again!
  • Various Designs for a photo shoot, hopefully in January 2011 15%I have a ton cut out already, but I haven't started stitching them together yet. I'd like to get all the rest of the measurements for my desired models together before I begin sewing them all up.
  • Cloak Prototype for Madeline K. 20%To show a shop owner who will be buying bags from me, wholesale (hopefully, fingers crossed! :) ), I'm making a clock that can be worn every day, and Miss Madeline has kindly accepted to be the first to wear it. I'm making it out of purple felt with a lighter purple cotton lining. It will have slits in the front for hands, and hopefully will be a good winter accessory!
  • Tactical Corset for JC B. 10%An experiment, if all goes well, hopefully I'll add a few "Corset to Kick Ass In" designs to my collection!
  • Revamp's of "Classics"I have a few ancient corset designs I came up with years ago, that I plan to revamp and possibly offer. One of which may be turned into a Tactical corset. It's an old favorite and I have some crazy-awesome plans for it.
  • Silver Screen Horror Icon'sI still have plans to create corsets inspired by the following Silver Screen Icons: Dracula, The Mummy, The Bride of Frankenstien, Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Wolfman, and possibly even Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I also have plans to make a limited to five, Dexter inspired Lillith. I will make the prototype for that for myself, ;) The Silver Screen Icon's corsets may also have two different versions: a male and female version. I have a gentleman I created a corset for, who is interested in Male versions, so we shall see!
